Find your starting place
Mood Church’s Anglican setting has choir stalls, a carved screen and a brass eagle lectern. Entry is free and needs no account. Choose a first name or nickname, then use the available actions to reach the candle stand, Night Prayer or intercessions book. You do not need to complete every action.
Light a candle with or without words
Choose Light a candle to begin a votive candle. Add optional dedication words or continue without them. Review sharing before proceeding: turning it off excludes your dedication from the shared prayer book, but some activity reaches the server. Entered words may also be sent for a wording check. Avoid sensitive details even when sharing is off.
Strike the virtual match, using the alternative control if preferred, then press and hold to light the wick. This does not place a physical candle in a parish.
Follow Night Prayer at your own pace
Night Prayer, also called Compline, is associated with quiet reflection before rest at the end of the day. Here, choose Say Night Prayer to open a guided panel in the choir stalls. Read the responses marked All aloud or inwardly, then select Next when ready.
The panel shows your place in the sequence; its final button closes the prayer. You may close it earlier. For surrounding Scripture, open Psalm 4, Psalm 134 or Luke 2 in the Bible reader. This digital sequence is not a live or complete parish service.
Pray for another visitor
Choose Pray for others to read public requests in the Anglican intercessions book. Pause with one request rather than trying to respond to every entry. If you pray, select I prayed to record an acknowledgement. It marks a visitor’s action, not a promise that someone will reply or that circumstances will change.
Continue with a simpler visit
Choose Sit a while if you want to stay without another action. Words-only quiet mode offers prayers, readings and the prayer book without the three-dimensional scene. You can also open the Bible reader separately.
In-site editions contain the common 66 books, not every additional book used by every tradition. Reading progress and bookmarks stay in this browser, separately by page language; clearing site data can remove them.
