Bring a prayer request

A first name and a few honest words can be enough. Share only what you are comfortable making visible.

Write simply, share thoughtfully

The prayer request entry opens the Protestant setting and its prayer cards. Add a first name or a short description of whom you are praying for, then write an optional note. The name field allows 28 characters and the note allows 110. A request for patience, comfort, or wisdom needs no detailed account of someone else's life.

Review the sharing checkbox before you continue. When sharing is on, your words appear with the request so other visitors can read them. Turn it off to keep your words out of the shared prayer book, or choose a blank card. Press and hold to pin the card. Private does not mean that no activity data is sent; the privacy notes explain the difference.

Open the prayer book to read public requests in your chosen church. You can sort by newest or fewest prayers. If you pray for a request, select I prayed to add an acknowledgement. The count records an action, not a measure of faith or a guaranteed response. Public prayer entries are available for up to seven days and can disappear earlier through moderation or storage limits.

  • Avoid surnames, contact details, and sensitive personal information.
  • Do not include links, advertisements, or abuse.
  • Use Report for an inappropriate public request.

Before you step inside

Will a minister respond to my prayer request?

Mood Church does not offer a clergy response service. Other visitors may read and pray for shared requests, but a personal reply or acknowledgement is not guaranteed.

Can I pray for someone without sharing their circumstances?

Yes. Use a first name and a general intention, keep the words private, or submit without words. Avoid publishing another person's sensitive information.
